Cletous D. “Dale” Pemberton

Mrs. Cletous D. “Dale” Pemberton, 87, passed away on June 11, 2021, in Gainesville.

Dale was born Feb. 9, 1934, in Plant City to Hazel Augustus Haney and Verinoor Edwards Haney.

She was a homemaker and worked throughout her life as a nurse. She loved gardening and being outdoors along with caring for her animals. Most of all, she loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, H.B. Pemberton, and one son, H.B. Pemberton Jr.

She is survived by her son, Richard Pemberton and his wife, LaWanda; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bill Haney; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at a later date.
