    Posted on June 23, 2021

The third annual “Little Miss Red, White & Blue” pageant will be held this Friday, June 25, at Forest Capital Hall, starting at 6 p.m.

Admission is $5. Some 18 young ladies will compete in two age categories (6-8 years old and 9-12 years old) for the title and crown.

Contestants who are not named to the respective courts will be recognized as “Little Miss Firecrackers.”

Shelbi McCall will serve as emcee for the program.

“Admission will be free for all veterans, and there will be special reserved seating for them,” coordinator Dawn Perez said.

Contestants will introduce themselves to the audience and judges during a patriotic opening number.

Then, they will return to the stage for the evening gown competition and to share answers to the question, “Why do I love America?”

The pageant is being sponsored by the Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Development Council and Zeigler’s Florist, along with the families of the contestants.
