Old Dixie sidewalk one step closer

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has allocated an additional $44,000 for the planned construction of a sidewalk along a portion of Old Dixie Highway, allowing the project to move forward.

The sidewalk will be constructed along the west side of Old Dixie Highway and will connect to the existing sidewalks on Plantation Road (in front of Southside Park) and Jefferson Street.
