School supply giveaways are planned July 28 and July 31

Two local churches have announced “Back to School” giveaways for local students.

First Baptist Church of Perry will hold its annual “Back2School Bash” Wednesday, July 28, from 6-7:30 p.m.

The free event will feature bounce houses, face painting, games and other activities, as well as free hot dogs, sno cones and popcorn.

San Pedro Baptist Church will hold a “Back to School” backpack giveaway and lunch on Saturday, July 31, beginning at 11 a.m.
