Golf cart rentals will now be allowed in Keaton Beach area

The Taylor County Commission approved an ordinance last week allowing golf cart rentals in Keaton Beach, where golf carts are allowed on certain county roadways.

There are four areas in the county where golf carts are currently allowed on designated county roadways — Steinhatchee, the Beaches area, the Spring Warrior area and the Econfina River area — each authorized by a separate ordinance.
