‘F9’ is insane, ridiculous entertainment

Perhaps even more unbelievable than the physics-defying stunts contained in “F9: The Fast Saga” is the fact that this franchise is still going strong (financially at least) after nine films, with two more reportedly on the way to wrap up the series once and for all.

If you’ve made it this far in the franchise, you should know what to expect in the newest film: fast cars, pretty people, insane action sequences and the barest possible story tying it all together.

I personally was not a fan of “Furious 7,” so while I had issues with 2017’s “Fate of the Furious,” I still called it a return to form for the franchise. “F9” is better still, and the best movie since “Fast & Furious 6.”
