Kynex Explosives will light up the Steinhatchee sky on Sunday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day.
Fireworks will be electronicaly shot from east of the bridge more than 400 feet in the air and are expected to be visible from anyone in town from either side of the Steinhatchee River.
Barring a lightning storm, the fireworks show is scheduled to begin at dark-thirty rain or shine. In case weather postpones the fireworks, the show will instead be held on Monday, July 5. The bridge will not be closed for this year’s fireworks show, which is hosted by the Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce.
