Woman arrested after claiming to be ‘alien,’ brandishing a gun

A woman claiming to be “an alien sent to protect the human race” was arrested late Saturday after brandishing a handgun during a domestic altercation at a residence on Williamson Lane.
Lisa Wilder, 48, was booked on one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (without intent to kill) and is being held on a $15,000 bond at the Taylor County Jail.
