When Perry native Yolanda Johnson Davis agreed to do a TikTok video with her sons Melvin “Ty” Holland Jr. and Bryce London Davis, last Thanksgiving, she had no idea it would catch the attention of network television executives and land her oldest son, Melvin, on the third season of the hit CBS show “Love Island.”
The video also helped earn Melvin, a former University of Minnesota football player and an entrepreneur in the fitness business, a water bottle sponsorship.
