Man gets 18 months in prison for possessing child porn, cannabis

A Perry man pleaded guilty Monday to charges of possession of child pornography and unrelated cannabis charges, and was sentenced to 18 months in prison followed by three years of sexual offender probation.

The plea deal came just over seven months after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), assisted by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO), executed a search warrant at the home of Ricky Dale Fowler, 51, located at 11741 Beach Road.
