Inmate strangled with face masks

An Okaloosa County man serving a life sentence for murdering his mother has now been charged with killing a fellow inmate at Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI).

Justin Lantz, 37, was booked at the Taylor County Jail for second degree murder on Thursday, July 8, in connection with the Jan. 31 slaying of his cellmate, Dequan Dodson.
