The Helios Education Foundation, in partnership with the Florida Department of Education, has established the “Now. Not Tomorrow.” scholarship initiative to assist recent high school graduates with enrolling in a Florida College System Institution, including North Florida College (NFC) in Madison.

The NFC Foundation will be awarding a limited number of $750 “Now. Not Tomorrow.” scholarships to recent 2020 or 2021 high school graduates attending NFC as a first-time college student in Fall 2021 and pursuing an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree.

High school graduates previously enrolled in NFC dual enrollment courses are eligible.

At NFC, students can enroll in an in-demand and high-quality associate degree program, such as: AA Degree, AS in accounting technology, AS in business administration, AS in criminal justice technology, AS in emergency medical services, AS in engineering technology and AS in registered nursing.

Scholarship applicants must also have a minimum 2.0 GPA and register for at least one Fall Term 2021 course at NFC. Applications opened July 8 and will be reviewed in the order received and accepted until all awards are assigned.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply for the “Now. Not Tomorrow.” scholarship as soon as possible online at www.nfc.edu/foundation-giving/scholarships.

Limited scholarships are available. Each scholarship recipient will receive a welcome package with gifts, including NFC swag, a $25 gas card and a $25 Sentinel Shop gift certificate.

If you are a recent 2020 or 2021 high school graduate that can benefit from financial help toward your college journey, please take advantage of this opportunity by completing NFC’s “Now. Not Tomorrow.” scholarship application online at www.nfc.edu/foundation-giving/scholarships. For more information, call (850) 973-9414 or e-mail foundation@nfc.edu.
