Learn how to preserve old family photos Sept. 19

Adam Watson, a photographic archivist from the State Archives of Florida, will present a program on photo preservation Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Taylor County Historical Society.

Starting at 7 p.m., the program will include an overview of the Florida Memory Project website and the upcoming “Bring in Your Photos” day planned in October.

“This is a great program for anyone who has old family photos and would like to learn how to preserve them for future generations,” Historical Society President Bettie Page said.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
