First Baptist holds Back2School celebration July 28

First Baptist Church’s annual “Back2School Bash” will be held Wednesday, July 28, from 6-7:30 p.m.

The free event will feature bounce houses, face painting, games and other activities, as well as free hot dogs, sno cones and popcorn.

The church is located at 102 North Center Street in downtown Perry.

“Our goal is to strengthen the families of our community by uniting them around a shared interest: the success and flourishment of our school-aged children,” said Senior Pastor Dr. Steven Ruff.

“By working alongside other agencies who share a common interest, we acknowledge that we cannot accomplish this goal alone. In the event of inclement weather, we will adjust to a drive-thru event,” he said.
