Taylor County Agriculture Extension Agent Lisa Strange will hold a workshop focusing on a “cornucopia of techniques and tips this Friday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Forest Capital Hall.
Visiting county agents will give hands-on demonstrations on how to plant trees and propagate bulbs by a “chipping” technique, as well as the best practices for vegetable gardening in North Florida and how to build your own compost worm bin.
Participants will receive a tree, bulb plants and a completed worm bin. Pre-register at Eventbrite for $5 or pay $10 at the door.
