The city council has approved land use and zoning changes that will allow Super-Pufft Snacks to use the former Kmart building as a warehouse for its growing manufacturing business in Perry.
At the city’s June 22 meeting, the council voted 5-0 in favor to change the land use category on 5.4 acres of the approximately 10-acre total parcel from “commercial” to “industrial” and re-zone the parcel from “commercial-shopping center” to “industrial, light and warehousing.”
