Taxable value jumps $62 million

Taylor County’s hot real estate market is driving the county’s property values higher, producing the possibility of additional tax revenues for local governments.

Property Appraiser Shawna Beach recently discussed the rising values with the Taylor County Commission during its opening budget workshop.
