31 positive cases here in past week

After dwindling down to just a handful per week in recent months, positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Taylor County have spiked back up over the past several weeks, mirroring the trend across the state and the country as the more contagious Delta variant of the disease spreads rapidly.

According to the latest available information from the Florida Department of Health, 31 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Taylor County during the week ending Thursday, July 22, marking the fourth straight week in which cases have increased here.
