Homeowner shot during attempted break-in, suspects remain at large

A Perry man is in serious, but stable, condition after being shot during an attempted home invasion during the early-morning hours of Monday, July 26.

The suspects, who were wearing masks and dark clothing, remain at large. The only physical description the victim could give investigators was that one of the suspects had a slim build, while the other had a heavy build, Perry Police Department (PPD) Capt. Gene Franklin said.
