Teachers get $4,000 bonus

All instructional staff members in the Taylor County School District – teachers, guidance counselors, media specialists and deans – will receive a one-time incentive/retention payment of $4,000 for the upcoming school year.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr. announced the incentive/ retention payments during Tuesday’s regular school board meeting.
