Free school supplies at drive-up event Aug. 8

Volunteers with the upcoming Back to School Supply Giveaway have announced that the event will be “drive-up/drive-thru” only and students must be present to receive supplies.

The event will be held this Saturday, Aug. 8, at 604 West Julia Street from noon to 3 p.m.

Sponsors include Dr. Willie and Lakeshia Anderson with the Temple of God International Church of God in Christ, Tim and Heather Mosley with The Less Fortunate Still Matter Foundation and Theresa Britt.
