Fire-Rescue has a boat stationed in Steinhatchee to assist with calls

Taylor County Fire-Rescue has stationed a boat in Steinhatchee to assist with emergency responses to areas that ambulances and other vehicles cannot reach due to the flooding.

Additionally, Fire-Rescue has a smaller boat and a high-water vehicle stationed in Perry to assist in other flooded areas of the county.
