Grantham Leo McMillan, 84, passed away on Aug. 8, 2021, in Madison.
He was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Dade City to James McMillan and Juanita Overstreet McMillan.
Grant honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam era.
He was of the Christian faith and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Dade City.
Grant was a crabber and fisherman for more than 35 years. He loved the outdoors and farming blueberries was one of his many pleasures.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, James McMillan and Juanita Overstreet McMillan; and his two wives, Joyce Wilson McMillan and Peggy Jean McMillan.
Grant is survived by: his two sons Terry McMillan and Grantham McMillan; five daughters, Susan, Cindy, Jill, Tina and Stacy; his best friend for the past 10 years Ruby; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Herbie High officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home.
Interment services will follow on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. in Dade City Cemetery.
