TCHS apologizes for jersey-burning video

Taylor County High School (TCHS) has issued a public apology after a video was publicly released showing a former assistant football coach attempting to burn a Madison County football jersey inside the local high school earlier this year prior to a spring jamboree football game.

The 17-second video was the subject of a front page article in Friday’s Madison County Enterprise-Recorder published under the headline “Is this a way to ‘fire’ a team up?”
