COVID cases hit new high in Taylor County

Taylor County is currently suffering through its worst surge of COVID-19 cases since the outbreak began in early 2020, with 25 new cases being reported every day in the county.

According to figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there were 174 new cases reported through the seven-day period ending Sunday, Aug. 15.
