Syble Ann Palmer, 73, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by beloved family on August 18, 2021.
She was born Jan. 15, 1948, in Stark to L.D. Blair and Eunice Jackson Blair.
Syble dedicated her life to the ministry for 50-plus years. As much as she dedicated her life to the church, she also dedicated it to her family. She wanted nothing more than to have them in church with her.
Syble was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Eunice Blair; her husband, Rabrun Palmer; and her son, Brian Palmer.
She is survived by: four children, Michael Palmer, Rita (Mack) Phillips, Nikki (Nansi) Palmer and Danielle (Stephen) Brown; her grandchildren, Courtney Phillips, Magan Phillips, Ethan (Layne) Phillips, Anna Phillips, Dave Palmer, Cayden “Roy” Buzbee, Connor Brown, Jacob Brown and Katelynn Brown; and great-grandchildren, Kennedy Phillips, Sophia Wiseman and Jaxon Phillips; as a well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 3 p.m. at the Church of God with Pastor Mary Shelton and Hal Jeffcoat officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the family residence.
