Edward Carl Pitts

Edward Carl Pitts, 68, passed away on Aug. 15, 2021, at his residence in Perry.

Edward was a Baptist and  attended Central Baptist Church in Aucilla.

He worked with the City of Perry with the gas department for more than 30 years.

He loved the outdoors, fishing and spending time on the Gulf. He also enjoyed mechanic work in his spare time.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Chester Ander Pitts, and his older brother, Roy Chester Pitts.

He is survived by: his mother, Rosa Lee Pitts; two daughters, Emily Suzanne and Amanda Ailene; his son, Edward Carl Pitts Jr.; two brothers, Charles and Jack Pitts; his sister, Barbara McMullen; and 11 grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date.
