Rhonda Jean Stringfellow, 64, passed away on Aug. 17, 2021, in Tallahassee.
She was born Feb. 6, 1957, in Baxley, Ga., to Clayton Butler and Clois Mixon Butler.
Rhonda was of the Christian faith and was well-known for standing firm in her faith. During her childhood she was an active member of The Church of God of Prophecy.
Rhonda worked at St. Marks Powder, a General Dynamics Company, as a logistics specialist for more than 15 years. She loved to sing and spend time with her family on the river.
Rhonda was preceded in death by: her parents, Clayton Butler and Clois Mixon Butler; her husband of 30 years, Frederick “Ricky” Stringfellow; one brother, Lamar Butler; and two sisters, Mary Hutcheson, and Laverne Hardy.
She is survived by: her daughter, Diane and her husband, Shane Knowles; her brother, Tony Butler; two sisters, Geneva Walker, and Latrelle Colson; five grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Brandon, Mack and Zack; four great-grandchildren; and one child of her heart, Jerry McGuire; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
