With COVID-19 cases rising among students and staff within the Taylor County School District, officials are urging parents to keep students home if they are exhibiting any COVID symptoms or if they or their family members are awaiting the results of a COVID test.
According to the latest figures provided by the district (as of Monday, Aug. 23), there have been 58 students and eight staff members test positive, while there have also been 173 school-related quarantines.
