182 new cases last week

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Taylor County continues to rise at an unprecedented rate, with an average of 27 new cases being reported per day locally.

According to the latest weekly report from the Florida Department of Health (DOH), there were 182 new cases reported in the seven-day period ending Thursday, Aug. 19.
