City Budget Bomb: Rate increases coming

City of Perry utility customers will very likely see a significant increase in their monthly bills later this year.

How much water, sewer, gas and garbage bills will increase has yet to be determined, as the city council and staff continue to deal with a surprise bombshell that knocked a million-dollar hole in the proposed budget just three weeks before it must be tentatively approved.
