Football, volleyball games will be played this week

While Taylor County School District schools will be closed to students this Thursday and Friday (Sept. 2-3) to allow staff to “reset” and “devise plans for continued learning,” all scheduled football and volleyball games are “still on,” according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr.

“Our teachers will use Thursday to collaborate on instruction and professional development, and our administration will reassess daily operations. We will use Friday as a non-working day for students and staff in the district to provide time away from our sites. BBTC will remain open for students on Thursday,” Glover said.
