24 of 48 inmates cleared of COVID

The Taylor County Jail’s coronavirus outbreak appears to have leveled off, as no new positive cases were recorded as of Monday, Aug. 27.

According to Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Undersheriff Marty Tompkins, 24 of the 48 positive inmates have been cleared.
