Honor a loved one

The Joe D. White American Legion Post 291 located in Steinhatchee is selling laser-etched bricks as part of a building fund-raising project.

“We are asking for a $50 donation per brick, honoring veterans, family, friends or businesses,” said American Legion Post 291 member Carolyn Wiley.

“Jim Knight Brick and Tile will be installing the bricks in the Remembrance-Honor Walkway adjacent to our front entrance prior to Veterans Day in November,” Wiley added.

Applications for bricks are available though the second week of October and can be obtained at the American Legion or by contacting Wiley at (423) 465-1467.
