Officials at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) are cautiously optimistic that they have may have seen the worst of the recent COVID-19 surge — both in Taylor County and across the state.
According to DMH Vice President of Operations Sara Grambling, the hospital had five COVID-positive patients Thursday, all of whom were in the designated COVID ward. Of those, two were on ventilators.
