Perry Garden Club hosts ‘Welcome Back’ lunch on Wednesday, Sept. 15

The Perry Garden Club will hold a “Welcome Back” luncheon Wednesday, Sept. 15, to mark the beginning of its new program year.

The luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. and everyone is asked to bring a covered dish to share.

While no program is scheduled, Linda Johnson, the club’s new membership committee chair, will share updates for the coming year.

Peggy Whiddon will serve as the head hostess along with hostesses Penny Staffney, Jamie Sheffield and Judy Nowlin.

Bettie Page will share the month’s horticultural tip.

Members are also reminded to bring their completed registration forms and fees for the Fall district meeting.

All members are encouraged to attend and bring a friend.
