County moves forward on softball field grant

The Taylor County Commission unanimously agreed to submit a $200,000 state grant application to help fund the construction of a third softball field at the Taylor County Sports Complex.

The hearing, which was held during the commission’s Tuesday, Aug. 17, meeting, was the second of two required hearings. No one from the public spoke on the matter at either hearing.
