Three local firefighters were recently recognized for reviving a victim involved in an automobile crash amid heavy rain and downed power lines. Taylor County Fire-Rescue Chief Dan Cassel presented the “Phoenix Award” to Firefighter/EMT Nathan Tyre, Firefighter/EMT Josh Futrell and Firefighter/Paramedic William Hall for their actions on June 25.
