    Sonya Worley Webb

    Mrs. Sonya Worley Webb, 72, passed away on Sept. 2, 2021, in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

    Sonya was born June 24, 1949, to Alex “A.C.” Worley Jr. and Evelyn Campbell Worley.

    She was a graduate of Madison County High School and earned an Associate Degree from North Florida Junior College. She was a Baptist and a longtime member of Midway Baptist Church in Lee.

    She worked as an attendance clerk with the Madison County School System for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Red Cross, where she served as a shelter manager for many years.

    In her spare time, she enjoyed genealogy research, needlework and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

    Sonya was preceded in death by her parents, A. C. Jr. and Evelyn Worley.

    She is survived by: her husband of 45 years, Arlie Van Webb; two sons, Al Miller of Perry and Adam Miller, and wife, Kim, of Warner Robins, Ga.; a daughter, Amy Webb of Madison; six grandchildren, Chris, Randi, Kayla, Jared, Alexis and A.J.; and one great-granddaughter, Mallory; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

    Graveside funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Thompson officiating.
