American Legion Post 291 will host Veterans Day celebration Nov. 11

Commander Jimmy Dietrich invites the public to join the Legionnaires on Thursday, Nov. 11, at American Legion Post 291 in Steinhatchee for a special Veteran’s Day presentation.

The ceremony will include the unveiling of the “Walk of Remembrance” and “Walk of Honor” beginning at 5 p.m.

The Steinhatchee American Legion Post 291 issued a special thank you to Mike and Susan Williams of Team Williams Printing, who etched the “Walk of Remembrance” bricks, and to Jim Knight of Knights’ Brick and Stone, who laid the walkway.

Additional bricks will be available for a $50 dollar donation per brick with installation at a later time.
