15 COVID-19 deaths at DMH since July 1

Fifteen people have died from COVID-19 at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) since the start of the Delta-variant surge in early July.

DMH CEO Chris Schmidt provided the latest death toll during a wide-ranging discussion about COVID-19 and the hospital’s response during the Taylor County Commission’s Tuesday, Aug. 7, meeting.
