COVID-related absences in the Taylor County School District plummeted from 101 absent individuals to just 25 two weeks after the district shut down for two days as a “preventative measure” to get control of coronavirus infections in students and staff across the five campuses.
According to the district’s online COVID-19 data tracker, there were just 25 COVID-related absences reported on Monday, Sept. 13.
