Madlene Odom Parnell

Madlene Odom Parnell, 82, passed away at Tallahassee Hospice Center after an extended illness. She is survived by: two sons, Roy Parnell of Tallahassee and Sonny Parnell of Howard’s Creek; three grandchildren, Tia, Josh and Travis; one sister, Sarah Lynn; and one brother, Charles Odom of Jeffersonville, Ga. She was preceded in death by: her parents, W.B. Odom Sr. and Ellen Albritton Odom of Perry; four sisters, Myrtle Wilkes of Irma, S.C., and Edna Moore, Alberta Houck and Doris Johnston, all of Perry; and two brothers, W.B. Odom Jr. and Robert Odom. Graveside services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with Brother  Danny Lundy officiating.
