21 cats, 2 dogs rescued

More than 20 cats and two dogs were rescued from a locked and abandoned motor home Friday, Sept. 10, after apparently being without food, water or adequate ventilation for nearly a week.

Roman Vincent Zukowski, 37, told officers he was taking care of the animals for his girlfriend and “had nowhere to take them.”
