The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will host a Zoom program featuring author Doug Alderson on Monday, Sept. 27, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Alderson is a Tallahassee author who pens books and articles on Florida’s nature, wildlife and area attractions.
His latest book, which was published on Sept. 1, is entitled, “Florida’s Rivers: A Celebration of Over 40 of the Sunshine State’s Dynamic Waterways.”

The group is also raffling a handmade quilt.
“The Happy Quilters,” who meet at the Taylor County Public Library, have created and donated a queen-size “tone on tone” Hagerstown Feather Design Quilt.
Tickets are available at the Taylor County Public Library, 403 N. Washington Street.
The tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20. The drawing will be on Oct. 25 at the library.
