Moody, Agner on ballot

Taylor County Commissioner Jim Moody and Taylor County School Board Member Bonnie Sue Agner have filed to run for re-election, bringing the total number of local candidates in the 2022 election cycle to four.

Moody (R) is in his second full term in office in the commission’s District 2 seat. He was first elected in 2012 to fill the final two years of the term originally held by Mark Wiggins, who resigned to run for Taylor County Tax Collector. Moody was re-elected in 2014 and 2018.
