Nearly $4 million carried over into new budget year

The Taylor County School District ended its 2021 budget year in the positive, with a 17-percent fund balance totaling some $4.2 million.

Finance Director Ashley Valentine shared the encouraging numbers during the school board’s regular meeting Tuesday.
