The Small Business Administration (SBA) will open a disaster loan outreach center at the Steinhatchee Community Center today (Wednesday) to assist Taylor County businesses and residents affected by severe storms during the month of August.
The SBA made the announcement on Monday, Sept. 27, after SBA Administrator Isabella Guzman made the loans available, in response to a request from the Florida Governor’s office to declare a disaster after historic flooding took place along the Steinhatchee River from Aug. 3-7, 2021.
