Gov. to pick replacement

Although Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr. has shared his decision to step down with the local Taylor County School Board, district staff and community at large, he had not formally tendered that resignation with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ office as of press time Tuesday.

Glover said Tuesday that the Florida Association of District School Superintendents has the letter for the governor and “they should deliver it today (Tuesday).”
