Taylor’s COVID death total at 75

Taylor County’s COVID-19 death total has now increased to 75, after six additional deaths were added to the most recent report released this week.

According to the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Community Profile Report published Monday, Oct. 4, a total of 75 people have died since the COVID-19 outbreak began in early 2020, including 27 over the past four months during the summer’s Delta-variant surge.
